To transfer the data from the sensor in a modern camera, MIPI CSI-2, a popular high speed serial interface specification, is often used. For this interface, BitSim has developed two very compact CSI-2 cores using only 500 LUTs, BitCsi2Tx and BitCsi2Rx that provide a low-power and cost-effective solution for your camera application. The design is fully configurable and is aimed for any ASIC/FPGA with camera sensors supporting the CSI-2 standards. Our IP has been used with different SoC:s, like i.MX8-series (NXP), OMAP (TI), MPSoC (Xilinx), Snapdragon (Qualcomm) and Xavier (Nvidia) for example.
